Biodegradable phone cases for iPhone and Android made from plant-based materials

Phone case Take-Back scheme

Send your old BoringBasics phone case back for free. We handle end of life.

Request a Free postage label

How it works

  • Request a FREE label using the form.
  • Pack one case in a thin envelope. Add your BoringBasics order number to a note.
  • Print the label at home, or take the QR code to a drop-off point that prints labels.

What happens after we receive it?

  • We sort returns in-house.
  • We route them to a specialist partner for end-of-life handling.
  • The route depends on material acceptance and contamination.
  • We do not instruct customers to put phone cases in kerbside recycling or food waste.

Why do we run take-back

Most phone cases end up in general waste. UK kerbside recycling rarely works for mixed material cases. Take-back gives you one clear route. You post it, we handle the rest.
